A: Gorilla Playsets last many, many years! The wood on each playset is kiln dried, twice! The typical life of a playset will vary on weather and wear and tear, but most sets last 15-20 years.

How deep should swing set post be?
Determine the final position of the swing, then carefully measure and mark the location of the individual posts. Use an auger to dig a hole for each of the posts. Make sure to dig the holes deep enough; for this project, the crew digs holes 3 feet deep and 12 to 18 inches wide.
Do gorilla playsets need to be sealed?
A: All of our swing sets come with a factory stain, and we recommend sealing the swing set with 90 days of assembly. After that, we recommend sealing again every 2-3 years.
Can you move a gorilla playset?
The set can be disassembled and taken with you when you move. You should be able to put it back together securely at your new house with the help of the manual. It is possible that, after many years, some hardware may be difficult to remove and may need to be replaced.

What is the weight capacity/weight limit for the set? The swing set’s platform can hold up to 800 pounds. The maximum swing beam load is 425 pounds – the two included swing belts can hold up to 150 pounds each and the trapeze bar can hold up to 125 pounds. The slides can also hold up to 150 pounds.
How do you anchor a gorilla playset?
Attach the anchor to the playset using the hardware provided. Some anchors only require that you drill a screw or fasten a bolt through the eye to attach it to the playset. Others use metal straps looped through the eye which are then attached to the playset.
