Do you have to wear a helmet at the Snowdome?
If you are ice skating, playing in snow fun park or on Santa’s Winter Wonderland snow trail – please remember helmets are mandatory for all children, aged 2 to 16 years. We strongly recommend adults wear a helmet too. Helmets will be provided free of charge to all guests.
What do you wear to the snow dome in Milton Keynes?
We advise you to wear something comfortable and loose fitting. No specialist ski clothing is required, though gloves are compulsory. Gloves are available to purchase at our Skizone Reception.
What is snow fun at Snowdome?
The snow fun park is the ultimate real snow playground which offers a whole new world of fun. The snow fun park area features a giant real snow slide. Children and their parents can play around in the snow, slide around on the new huge snow slide, climb and slide in the treehouse and enjoy a game of snowballs.

How much are lockers? Lockers are 20 pence refundable. Secure lockers are also available – these are situated at reception and are free to use. What should I wear in the swimming pool?

Suggestions of what to wear:
- warm clothes and thermal layers.
- ski or waterproof trousers.
- ski socks.

You can go for flume and inflatable swimming, toboggan and ice skating or flume and inflatable swimming, climb and ice skating. We opted for the former simply because the kids went over to Snowdome for a Climb session a couple of weeks ago (not a media visit, paid for by us, they loved it!).
